Terrestris Awarded IRS EOps IRA New Hire Training Contract

– April 28, 2025

Terrestris, LLC is pleased to announce its recent contract award to provide Recruit Training & Development Support Services in support of the Inflation Reduction Act New Hire (IRA-NH) initiative. In support of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Enterprise Operations (EOps) Associate Chief Information Officer (ACIO), this effort will strengthen the IRS Leadership development Program through targeted soft-skills training and development support for federal employees.

Under this award, Terrestris will deliver customized workshops focused on Program and Project Management soft-skills development. These workshops are designed to enhance career progression, skills acquisition, and mentoring support, providing tailored guidance and training tools that prepare them for long-term success within the agency. Specific workshops will cover Project Management Transformation, Storytelling for Project Managers, Design Thinking for Project Managers, and Portfolio Management Best Practices.

Terrestris will design a formal career path evaluation methodology and provide research, documentation, and knowledge-sharing support on a variety of learning and development topics, including technical training, certification courses, peer discussions, analyst-led webinars, evolving technology trends, and leadership best practices to support employee development within the IRS. Terrestris will conduct fact-finding, data gathering, survey design and administration, and reporting to inform a data-driven process. These efforts will assess personnel experience and identify both skill gaps and opportunities for professional improvement.

Terrestris will also design and help the IRS implement a formal employee Mentor Protegee program to enhance and complement the workshops and employee development programs developed.

“It is an honor to support the IRS on this initiative to deliver high-quality, accessible training and professional development opportunities that align with the Associate Chief Information Officer’s strategic vision and operational requirements,” said Alex Horti, CEO of Terrestris, LLC.
