Dumfries, VA, April 13, 2024 – Terrestris proudly announces its latest achievement, having secured a 5-year prime contract to provide comprehensive administrative, media outreach, and policy review support to the Executive Secretariat of the US Committee on the Marine Transportation System (CMTS), a cabinet-level interagency partnership.

Under this esteemed contract, Terrestris staff will play a pivotal role in enhancing communication support for the Executive Director and staff of the CMTS Executive Secretariat. This includes managing CMTS social media platforms, website content, and coordinating outreach activities. Additionally, our dedicated team will provide crucial administrative assistance such as program briefings, meeting coordination, and responding to congressional and executive branch inquiries.

In addition to media support, Terrestris will facilitate CMTS’s transfer of funds and acquisition capabilities, ensuring seamless coordination among member agencies. Our team will conduct extensive research and compile marine transportation-related materials to support the development and distribution of research to CMTS members.

The Maritime Administration (MARAD) oversees America’s waterborne transportation systems, supporting vital aspects of maritime infrastructure to meet the nation’s economic and security needs.
