Terrestris Awarded $17M Contract with US Southern Command for Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Preparedness

Dumfries, Virginia – Terrestris, a leading provider of comprehensive training, humanitarian assistance, and complex logistics management services, proudly announces the award of a significant 5-year, $17M prime Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with the US Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM). This achievement is a testament to Terrestris’ commitment to enhancing disaster response capabilities in Central America, South America, and the Caribbean. 

Under this contract, Terrestris will collaborate with Culmen International LLC to support Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Preparedness (HA/DP) efforts. The nations in these regions have faced a history marked by widespread violence, financial hardships, and natural disasters. USSOUTHCOM, in partnership with Terrestris Global Solutions and other local, national, regional, and international organizations, will work towards improving disaster response capabilities by enhancing the capacity and regional infrastructure of host nations through established Emergency Management Mechanisms.

Terrestris will provide vital resources including personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, and structured logistics capabilities into South America, expediting processes to meet the needs of US Southern Command efficiently. Our subject matter experts stationed overseas will collaborate with foreign and domestic military groups in the areas of Assessment, Logistics, and Training (ALT).
