Terrestris Awarded Contract to Support U.S. Army Cadet Field Training Survival Program

May 12th, 2026 – Woodbridge, Virginia

Terrestris is proud to announce it has been awarded a base plus four option-year prime contract, in coordination with the U.S. Army War College and the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York, to support the U.S. Army Cadet Field Training (CFT) Survival Training Program during Summer 2026. This effort delivers integrated equipment, logistics, SERE instructor support, and operational execution to enable realistic, hands-on survival training for future Army leaders.

Under this contract, Terrestris will provide all materials, installation, SERE instructor support, and operational support required to execute survival training across multiple rotations. The program is designed to reinforce core survival skills aligned to SERE principles, including wilderness survival, food procurement, fire craft, and field-expedient cooking in austere environments.

Terrestris supports these training objectives through the delivery and management of live fish stocking operations, survival fishing systems, containment net infrastructure, and field equipment such as fire starters, canteen cooking systems, and processing tools. These capabilities allow cadets to train in controlled, realistic environments that replicate field conditions while maintaining strict adherence to Army safety and environmental standards.

In addition to equipment and materials, Terrestris will provide full lifecycle operational support, including planning, transportation, installation, inspection, and post-training removal of all systems. The team ensures all training environments are fully operational prior to execution and maintains rapid response capability to address any issues, ensuring continuity of mission-critical training.

“This program reinforces the foundational survival skills critical to Soldier readiness,” said Sergio Venegas, Operations Manager at Terrestris. “We are proud to support training that prepares cadets to operate effectively in challenging and unpredictable environments.”

This award reflects Terrestris’ growing role in supporting SERE-aligned training and complex field operations. By combining logistics, technical expertise, and experienced personnel, Terrestris delivers integrated solutions that enhance realism, readiness, and operational effectiveness.

This award builds on Terrestris’ continued support to the U.S. Army War College, where the company currently holds nine active prime contracts delivering educational, leadership development, instructional, and program support services. This contract further expands Terrestris’ capabilities into SERE-aligned training and personnel development, strengthening our ability to support the full spectrum of training and readiness requirements across Army organizations.
