Terrestris Wins Contract to Provide Marine Corps Provost Marshal's Office Body Cameras, Training, and IT Support
December 30, 2025 – Woodbridge, Virginia
Terrestris, LLC is proud to announce that it has been awarded a five-year prime contract by the Marine Corps Forces Reserve (MARFORRES) Provost Marshall’s Office (PMO) to provide comprehensive body-worn cameras, training, and related IT support services. The award, secured through a competitive procurement process, reflects the Marine Corps’ continued trust in Terrestris as a reliable and innovative mission partner.
Under this contract, Terrestris will provide complete body-worn camera solutions, including all supporting equipment, docking stations, cables, mounts, and software to establish and sustain a secure and scalable program. To ensure a seamless rollout, the Terrestris team will conduct virtual setup sessions with PMO staff, followed by comprehensive on-site deployment training covering system configuration, integration, and operational best practices.
Each camera features a 4300 mAh battery that provides up to 14 hours of continuous operation, a 5 MP sensor, a 160-degree field of view, and a 4:3 aspect ratio for clear and wide-angle imaging. Cameras include a magnetic fast charge cable and are protected by XTS AES 256-bit encryption with 128GB of solid-state storage for secure data retention. The system’s two-way communication capability enables real-time situational awareness and true hands-free bi-directional communication. Officers can activate a “Watch Me” function that allows designated support teams to view live camera feeds instantly, ensuring immediate coordination and response.
The latest built-in camera assistant feature is a true on-scene partner, now featuring the ability to ask questions in the field and get real-time answers via voice through the camera. From general reference information to policy specifics, to real-time translations, the built-in “assistant” provides the information officers need in the field while keeping their eyes on the scene.
Camera digital evidence is stored in a digital locker that is FedRAMP Authorized by the Joint Authorization Board (JAB) at a High Impact Level. This Digital Evidence Management System (DEMS) platform, used by all major federal law enforcement entities, provides centralized cloud-based storage and management of all digital evidence.
Administrators can easily manage user access permissions, while AI-powered search tools allow rapid video retrieval. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest to ensure compliance and maintain chain of custody integrity.
“We are thrilled to partner with Marine Forces Reserve once again to implement a body-worn camera program,” said Maria De Micoli, Project Manager at Terrestris. “Once the rollout is complete, a large implementation of cameras will be deployed that reflects MARFORRES’s commitment to leveraging modern technology to enhance both officer and community safety.”
