Dumfries, VA, March 18, 2024 – Terrestris proudly announces its latest achievement, having secured a 2-year prime contract to provide comprehensive support to the Veterans Health Administration’s (VHA) Assault and Harassment Prevention Office (AHPO).

 Under this contract, Terrestris staff will play a pivotal role in ensuring section 508 compliance for the AHPO website, overseeing the coordination and implementation of national harassment and sexual assault policies, reporting strategies, and cultural change efforts for VHA. Our team will collaborate closely with AHPO internal and external VA stakeholders, including staff at VA headquarters, VHA medical centers and facilities, the Veteran Benefits Administration (VBA), the National Cemetery Administration (NCA), Veterans, Veterans Services Organizations, Veteran special interest groups, and members of Congress.

 In addition to administrative and policy support, Terrestris will provide 508 compliance tasks, including graphic design and website support. Our focus will be on ensuring that AHPO’s services are accessible, conforming to Section 508 legislation, and increasing awareness of accessibility issues and programs for both internal and external VA stakeholders. Our 508 compliance support aims to set a standard for other federal agencies and the private sector.
